just playing around a bit with this feature in photoshop that stitches together abuncha different photos to make one…..
this is actually like 9 different pictures.
so i used my cave at work as a subject to try this out with. turned out pretty cool.

only problem is….they are illegal in california for some reason. which means i’d need to drive to nevada to get one, and then hide him from the fuzz! plus….i’d have to order all the food online and blah, blah, blah, blah……

….the cool thing is, i was wondering if i’d even get to see the whole deal tomorrow. i mean, besides secretly watching an online stream at my desk. turns out the head of our HR sent out an email today….stating how it will be playing in the big screen tv in the cafe….as well as….will be projected on the movie screens in our little “main street” media/meeting area.
so kickass…..i am gonna go into work tomorrow, sporting my “obama is my homeboy” t-shirt….and watch the inauguration on huge movie screens. hahaha.
i’ll take some pics, or maybe video….so stay tuned…..

michelle, the lovely photographer i work with posted this on her own blog….and i thought i’d steal it just to give you an idea of what goes on at my work.
it’s a couple years old, probably before i started there…..but it’s funny, cause i still have to work on pictures of this surfer chick all the time. to explain….basically what they are shooting here, is what i work on. they shoot the pics there….and then they get dumped off to us and we make them look all pretty before they go to print….or on the web….or in ads….or etc….
on what could be a sad note (who knows….)…..we were informed today that the president of quiksilver americas (yes, that would be huntington beach quiksilver) resigned. dunno what it means…..but it’s never a good thing to hear the head meatstick is leaving. so let’s hope i still have a job in the months to come. hahahah…..oh, fuck you economy!

i am not exactly sure why….but i find myself listening to a lot of pavarotti lately….

i can’t help hearing just how cinematically perfect this stuff is though. duh, it’s from operas……but beyond that. it could treat a scene like corn cobbed salted butter. perfect and juicy. stay tuned for the video test…..heh.
